Role: Data Modeler

Job Responsibilities:

- Work with key business representatives, data owners, end users, application designers and data architects to model current and new data.
- Design, Develop and Test Integration of RedShift with S3 Storage, ETL & Reporting technologies.
- Best Practices on RedShift Data Mart designs.
- Work with key business representatives, data owners, end users, application designers and data architects to model current and new data.

Required Skills and Experience:

- Familiarization on concepts like Distribution styles, Distribution keys and Sort keys.
- Compression level considerations and knowhow.
- Able to articulate how security is applied in Redshift.
- Complete familiarity with Redshift underlying architecture in terms of Leader Nodes, Compute Nodes, slices and how data is distributed, how a request for a table data is resolved.
